Gulf of Maine Times Environment Canada has been and remains a long-term supporter of and participant in the Canada-U.S. Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment. This transboundary ecosystem partnership is based on the free and regular exchange of information and a commitment to keep all parties informed about new developments and opportunities for cooperation. The Gulf of Maine Times newspaper is the premier tool for the Council's outreach and communication efforts and it serves to promote and advance ecosystem-based information among more than 10,000 residents of the Gulf of Maine. Environment Canada is proud to support the GoM Times and to use it to advance it's own priorities and the collaborative relationships we have built over the past 19 years.
